The unique tobacco blend The Beast from Cornell & Diehl is made up of 51% Perique from St. James Parish, along with Red Virginia Cavendish and a touch of Kentucky, which adds complexity and balance to the blend. It is then soaked in rum for seven days to deepen its full flavor.

The Beast tobacco is inspired by the legendary occultist Aleister Crowley, who smoked St. James Perique soaked in rum to achieve altered states of consciousness.
