Dagaz Pipes No. 6 – handmade Freehand

This is a handcrafted original piece from my own brand, Dagaz Pipes, on which you won't find any lathe work. The pipe is created through traditional hand processing – I only use a drill, rasp, files, and sandpaper during production. The drill is the only electric tool I use in the making process. Each shape is gradually formed directly by hand, making every piece a true original.

This pipe is made from briar, whose distinctive grain and natural texture form the basis of the entire design. The freehand shape highlights the irregular lines of the bowl and the interesting details of the wood. The finish in shades of purple and black emphasizes the character of the material. The pipe is complemented by a black acrylic mouthpiece.

At Dagaz Pipes, I am not focused on producing dozens of the same pipes. Each piece is created from a basic block to the final polishing by hand. I do not use CNC or a lathe – only basic hand tools and a drill.

Dagaz Pipes No. 6 is another step on my journey towards my own style of pipe making. With each new piece, I strive to find interesting shapes and let the character of the wood shine through as much as possible.

The grain of the briar, the shape, and the details make this pipe a unique piece. It will not be possible to create an identical one again.
